Using the Social Arts we create platforms and opportunities that enable our youth to become sensitized, pro-active and empowered citizens.
Arts education can instill in young people a sense of satisfaction, which comes from working together to create something. It can provide sense of where they come from, why they matter and how they fit together. Through Arts we can explore different ways of expressing thoughts, experiences and feelings that are not easily expressed in everyday language and signs. Creativity and imagination inspires us to challenge norms and gain the confidence to stand up for what we believe is right, bypassing barriers of caste, religion, gender, class and other social constructs.

Incidents of intolerance and hatred have become the harsh reality of the world we live in. New skills, new tools are required to negotiate within this changing scenario. Theatre and Expressive Arts enable us to create spaces where people can connect with each other beyond the visible differences.VISION
Our Vision is to create a society where every
individual has Dignity and Self-worth, and where
every citizen is empowered to express,
irrespective of any barriers and stereotypes.
All our programs symbolize this vision. Participants from diverse backgrounds come together, sharing their livesand experiences with each other. A diversity of realities often leads to empathy, sensitivity and mutual respect.

WE USE EXPRESSIVE ARTS
Our Innovation lies in the use of Expressive Arts to engage with Social issues. Role plays, storytelling, interactive scenarios and group discussions are really effective tools to explore socially relevant and sensitive themes in a non-threatening way. Apart from enabling a physical release of inhibitions, these tools offers our participants the opportunity to inhabit different characters in challenging situations, thereby gaining insight into their own blocks, their own fears.
BUILDING INCLUSIVE SPACES
Our Method is unique. Our workshops become comfortable environments where participants become more aware of themselves and ‘others’ through creative interactions. More often than not, as individuals we don’t realize how issues that we consider public, impact our personal lives. As a medium of self-exploration and transformation, Art enables us to understand our role in the larger social processes.
